Career Highlights

His British television credits include: The Comedians, The Des O’Connor Show, Celebrity Squares & Gag Tag. While on radio he contributed to the satirical BBC Radio show the News Huddlines & also wrote for the late Roy Castle. Turning professional in 1970 he has worked his way up from the tough northern UK club circuit to the world famous London Palladium, supporting along the way such stars as Diana Ross, Shirley Bassey, Victor Borgé, Rita Coolidge, The Hollies & Sacha Distel to name but a few. More recently he toured as the opening act for the Canadian singing star Michael Bublé. In a recent revue in the trade magazine “The Stage & Television Today” he was given the soubriquet of the connoisseur’s comedian.
